Hi friends.
No job offer from Killeen ISD. I wasn't even notified by them.
Our wedding anniversary is coming up. It is August 23. We have been separated almost 6 months now.
And I thought that I would put up a few pictures of Heather and me.
more below the fold
The baby in the picture, I believe, belongs to Heather's brother and sister in law. We don't have any children.
So, this picture shows our cat, Gus, in front of our wedding picture.
This picture shows us celebrating Christmas together.
This picture is of Heather's Dad (who passed away), Heather's brother and sister in law, Heather, and me.
This picture is of Heather holding her niece (I believe).
In one of these pictures, I had my head shaved. LOL .
I applied for some more jobs, teaching and otherwise. Everything seems kind of hopeless, so I am thinking about checking out. Fact is that I am about to lose my phone, electricity and people can't keep helping me out. I applied for 10 jobs last night. That is what I was doing all night. There is no way out of this. And our coming anniversary isn't helping me any. I really thought that I would get at least 1 offer.
My Dad, after having a managing partner in what is considered the world's best, most successful executive search firm, started his own company doing executive search. He himself picked the CEO for Westinghouse, for example. I have gotten advice from him. He is Robert Allen Proctor III. His company is called Oak Hill Consultants.
This is a link to his picture.
Bob brings 27 years of executive search experience to Oak Hill Consultants LLC. He has successfully completed assignments for chief executive officers, chief operating officers and vice presidents in most line and staff functional areas. Among his important current clients are the WC Bradley Company (CharBroil, Zebco and Lamplight), Constellation Energy Group and Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Prior to establishing Oak Hill Consultants in 2001, Bob spent 11 years with Heidrick & Struggles, where he was a Senior Partner, Director and founding member of the Firm’s Industrial/Manufacturing Practice and the CFO Specialty Practice. While his personal focus is primarily on the industrial sector, he also works with distribution/logistics organizations, as well as high technology and professional services clients. The organizational breadth of his work has run from recruiting the CEO for a Fortune 50 company to CFO of a small privately held business.
